Residents are encouraged to join the MAF security camera project. Your R100 per month subscription will also entitle you to membership of MAF.
How is the money used?
Membership fees are used to cover running costs, including:
Admin expenses, such as printing, telephone calls, website hosting, posters, etc.
Fighting commercial creep. Opposing potential inappropriate developments, such as the proposed Makro superstore, costs money. On occasion (for example, leading up to a hearing or appeal hearing) MAF needs to engage the services of legal advisors, road engineers and other professionals.
